How to connect to my customer account?
I already have a decathlon.ie customer account. I can use it on the giftcard.decathlon.ie website for my orders. I don't have an account at Decathlon, I can create one directly on the site giftcard.decathlon.ie, it will also be valid on decathlon.ie for all types of orders.
How much money can be put on a Decathlon gift card ?
DECATHLON gift cards can be loaded with any value between €5 and €1,000.
Can I personalize my Decathlon gift card ?
Yes, the DECATHLON Gift Card can be personalised or individually designed. You can either choose a sports design (template) and add your own message, or you can upload your own picture, choose a background colour, a font type and colour, and individually design the card yourself.
Can I transfer the gift card directly to the beneficiary ?
You can send it directly to the recipient. Once the order has been placed, when you get to the delivery method stage, enter the recipient's postal address. You can also choose to hand-deliver the gift card.
Can I offer a Decathlon e-gift card by email?
Yes, you can send a Decathlon e-gift card to another recipient.
How long does it take to receive a Decathlon e-gift card ?
If you selected the “Send Now” option, you will receive the Decathlon e-gift card immediately as soon as payment has been confirmed. You can also choose an alternative date to send the gift card by selecting a specific date and time in the appropriate section.
How can I pay for my Decathlon gift card?
Payment is made via credit card.
When will my account be debited?
Payment is made at the time of the order, even if a different delivery date/time has been chosen.

Does the gift card have an expiry date ?
DECATHLON gift cards have a 5-year life cycle from the date of purchase.
Where can I redeem my Decathlon gift card ?
Decathlon gift cards can be redeemed online at decathlon.ie and at any Irish Decathlon store.
What can I buy with my gift card?
You can spend your gift card on all products and services (including promotions) in all sports categories. Valid on new and second-hand products. However, it is not possible to buy a gift card with a gift card.
Can I use my gift card in several installments?
Yes, it is possible to spend your gift card in installments. You can keep track of your balance via a dedicated section called ‘My balance’. Simple and practical, don't forget to save your card on your customer account so that you can find it easily. To do this, go to your account, heading ‘My wallet’.
Can a gift card be stopped ?
If you have lost your gift card, you can contact our customer service department, who will help you with the process. If the gift card has not been spent by a third party, we will be able to block the card remotely and send you a new one by email (subject to presentation of the purchase invoice / order number / gift card numbers). In the event that your gift card has been spent by a third party, we cannot guarantee that it will be reimbursed. Our teams will analyse the matter and respond to your request as soon as possible.
